For weekday enquiries before 3pm the answer is yes, in almost every suburb we list. Our Johannesburg depot (Edenvale) and Pretoria depot (Centurion) between them keep every job under a 40-minute drive. Saturdays fill fastest — phone early in the week for a weekend slot.

Every one of them, and we'll show you the badge when they arrive. We don't sub-contract to unvetted third parties to cover demand. If we're fully booked we'll tell you so and offer the next genuine open slot, rather than sending someone we don't know.

Rain-fade on the Highveld is real, but in nine cases out of ten the actual cause is a dish that was aligned to 70% quality rather than 90%+. A proper alignment gives you the 10-15% margin you need to ride out a summer thunderstorm. We re-align to 90%+ on every install.

You can try, but Exploras are sensitive to LNB type, cable quality, and dish alignment. Most DIY installs that we get called out to repair end up costing more than a professional install would have. Our Explora install fee includes the decoder, the LNB swap, and a proper alignment.

The decoder itself handles on-off cycles fine, but the repeated surges over months can kill power supplies. If your decoder has been through a lot of load-shedding and is now intermittent, we can often repair the power supply on site for R550-R950 rather than replacing the whole decoder.

Saturdays yes, 8am to 2pm. Sundays and public holidays are emergency-only — phone the line if your signal has gone the night before a big match or you've had an unrelated disaster and we'll see what we can do.
