Safe, level TV wall mounting on brick, drywall and face-brick with concealed cable routing and correct bracket sizing for any screen.
Wall-mounting a TV in a typical Gauteng home is not the five-minute job the mount's packaging suggests. Face-brick walls are the standard inside and out on a lot of our housing stock, and they swallow self-tapping screws for breakfast. Drywall and plaster over brick need proper toggle or expansion fixings. Double-skin cavity walls need the right drill bit depth so you don't blow through into the cavity. And then there's the cable management — nobody wants a HDMI cable draped down a beautiful exposed-brick feature wall.
We mount everything from 32-inch bedroom TVs to 85-inch lounge panels, including the double-articulating mounts that swing out from a corner or pull down from above a fireplace. The mount you buy at the shop is usually fine; the fixings supplied with it often aren't, which is why we carry our own stock of proper wall plugs and anchors rated for the Gauteng wall types we work in every day.

Either works. We stock VESA-compatible fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts on the vehicles. If you've already bought one we'll happily use it, provided it matches the TV's VESA pattern.
Usually. On brick we chase a channel and re-plaster. On drywall we fish the cables between the studs. Where the wall can't be cut we use slim white trunking painted to match.
Rule of thumb — the centre of the screen at eye level when you're seated. We'll mark it on the wall with low-tack tape before drilling so you can sit down and sanity-check it.
Typical pricing
TV wall-mounting starts at R850 for a straightforward brick-wall install up to 55 inches. Chased cable runs, power-point relocation, and panels above 65 inches typically bring the job to R1,350-R2,200.
